Sage loves to bake.
Recently, she has started to use cookbooks, instead of just creating recipes from scratch.
She still always adds her own twist to whatever she’s doing!
Anton keeps eating all of these cookies practically before they’re cold, so I wanted to share this recipe with you.
With her added twists, of course!

Heat oven to 375 degrees
In the mixer, beat 1 cup of butter on medium to high for 30 seconds
Add 1 1/4 cup flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup regular sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon or so vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
Beat until thoroughly combined, then:
Beat in another 1 1/4 cup flour.
Then STIR in:
1 12 oz. package of bittersweet chocolate chips (2 cups) Guittard is a favourite!
2 cups mini-marshmallows or chopped large marshmallows
Drop dough in rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet or parchment paper ON cookie sheet, and bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Cool on wire rack as long as you can keep Daddy from finding out that they’re done. Share!
Repeat process.

those are great looking cookies……I love a nice big chocolate chip cookie, the flatter ones are okay but nothing beats biting into a mouthful of ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie!
Keep up the good work , you are becoming quite the baker!
cheers

I’m very impressed! I will have to share this with Anna. She is the house baker.
